I am trying to upgrade from v6 to v8 in wordpress. However, v8 requires php 8 and v6 crashes on php8.
How do I even try converting when v6 and v8 cannot run simultaneous.
I'm open to manually converting but when you cannot display v6 forms to convert??
What am I missing?

You can not run both of them on WordPress, you need to take a backup of the v6 forms while it can still run, then restore the backup file on v8 after it's installed and running, please note that not all form features will be restored in v8
There is a PHP8 update for v6 on Joomla but not on WP unfortunately.
