Installed...but not displaying comments?

jpipitone 26 Sep, 2008
I've installed the plugin, the component, and the module, and I've enabled everything in my Joomla 1.5 install.

I can see the "Latest Comments" module display on my pages in the left column, but I can't leave comments on any articles because it won't display for some reason?

All of my articles display, but there is no comment field anywhere - what am I missing?

Nevermind! I didn't realize I had to configure the parameters within the component.....it's late...

Hi! I'm a new, very satisfied, user! I tried ChronoForms, it works very well... Now I tried to install ChronoComments, but, after the plugin installation, the module one, and the component one, I was looking for where to insert comment from the frontend. I mean, if I read an article I can't see the comment form... I think I setted well the parametres... Can you help me?

Thanks

Hi and11,

tell me which parameters you added for the chronocomments ? you should at least select some articles from the list or even categories/sections and also enable some posting permissions.

Hi and11,

ok, when you open any article page and look at the end of it, what can you see ? nothing at all ? nothing even like "please login to post comments" ? or "show/hide comments form" ? do you have the plugin enabled in plugin manager ?

Cheers,

Max

please download plugin V1.2 from here and uninstall the plugin you have and install and enabled the 1.2, I mean the plugin only and not the express install file, may be this will fix it ?

Cheers

Hi, do you have any other 3rd party plugins installed on this site ? if yes then can you try to disable them for a few moments and retest with only Chronocomments plugin enabled ?

if this didn't work then you can PM me with some temp admin login to your site and I will check it.

Best regards,

Max
