Data table naming

pgrnycomdir 01 Oct, 2025

Max,

I hate to be stupid here, but I am having to redo all my forms again to accommodate the Joomla 5 update.  So I decided to redo the forms in Chronoforms 8.

When I get to the data-table stuff I am getting stuck.  As I've stated in the past, I am not a programmer, just a volunteer and I cannot understand why when I name the newly created data-table in myPHP as   slh81_chronoform8_rc-mission-rpt  I am getting a syntax error.  So obviously it does not like the way I'm naming the new chronoform 8 data-table.  I am just following everything I did in Chronoform7.  Again, I have 9 custom forms that I need to redo in this new version before the end of the month.

Can I get a little guidance here?

Thank you in advance,

Donna

Hi Donna

Probably the "-" is not a good character for tables names, you get the error in phpMyAdmin or where exactly ? just replace the "-" with "_" ?

ChronoForms does not force specific table name requirements
