partitions

omerva 06 Aug, 2025

Hi Max,

I also use CF6 to write articles because it allows me to better classify them, aided by the presence of "partitions."In CF8, I tried "Multi-page," but when I move to the next page, it deletes the data I entered on the previous page.Isn't it possible to create partitions in CF8 as well, allowing for a single save at the end of the work?

Thank you very much.

Hi Omerva

Normally previous page data should still be there, and your "Save Data" action should be in the "Submit" event of the last page.

Please try that and let me know

A screenshot of your pages setup will be helpful to tell if you have any mistakes.

At the moment ChronoForms v8 still does not have Partitions but it is on the TODO list

Hi Max

I insert the link for the next page in the menu or with the button, and it works great, but when I move to the new page, it deletes the previous one, even if I save it on the last one.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the partition and, in the meantime, I'm trying to understand the features, such as the dynamic dropdown, with some difficulty in the absence of a manual.

Cf8 is very nice, and I have to compliment you.

The hard part is remodulating everything after the time spent learning CF6 and CF/7.I'm afraid I'll have to bother you again.

Thank you very much.

Hi Remo

but when I move to the new page, it deletes the previous one, even if I save it on the last one.

Please post a screenshot of your form Setup, better build a simple test form for this

Also the default installer has a few demo forms, one of them is "Multi page" that you can test, when you go back to first page the data should be there, is this what you need ?

Thank you, I tried to make ChronoForms v8 easier than previous versions.
