comments field

Hi Max,

Is it possible to include a comments field in the new release?

So you can document the form you've created? This is a suggestion.

Greetings

Hi Paul

But there is a description field, you can use that to add comments, no ?

Hi Max,

I understand that, but it describes the entire form.

In the form, I use the wizard setting for a short description of the field of action.

What I mean is that the form will have a field containing a short description of the reason for choosing a particular solution.

Just like // you use for comments in a PHP file.

Hi Paul

I still do not understand, you mean a new field type or description behavior for each field ?

Hi Max,

When I look at a form, it's a collection of fields and activities. Sometimes it's unclear why you chose a particular solution. That's why it would be nice if you could include a piece of text in the form as a kind of documentation. This field should then only be visible in the form for maintenance purposes. Nothing more than that.

I hope it is a little clearer now.

Hi Paul

Ok, how do you imagine this feature to be implemented ? a comments field under the Settings tab or somewhere else ?

Hi Max,

Is it possible to define a comment field that you can drag into your form. It can contain visible text but isn't part of the form itself, so it's only visible for maintenance purposes in Chronoforms 8.

This is just a suggestion; if it's not possible, no problem.
