Tinymce is not defined

Resolve a "tinymce is not defined" error in CF after a Joomla update.

Overview

The error occurs after updating Joomla because an outdated CF version or its chrono3g plugin is incompatible.
Manually update CF to the required version for your Joomla release, ensuring all related plugins are also updated.

Hi

Do you have v7.0.12 update installed ? this is required for Joomla 5

if your form is not so complex, what about installing v8 on the same website then restoring the v7 form there ? v8 is generally more stable than v7

Answer

Thank you max, the problem is gone after download and manual re-installation of v 7.0.12 I have seen there was a problem in the chrono3g plugin that was checking for joomla version == 4 instead of >= 4. I think that the automatic updates failed to update the chrono3g plugin.

If i install V8 i need to pay for a new subscription and a new activation key?

TIA

Marco

Hi Marco

Great, no auto update check is done as it can not check if you have Joomla 4 or 5 and the update is for Joomla 5 only, and v8 is the recommended version now anyway

if you use v8 then the same validation for v7 should work fine
