It appears that the icon for a button does not always show. For example for clear, submit and button types it looks like this:

For link it looks like this:

Note that the size of the button is different as well. It is the exact same button, I am only changing the Button Type field. Note that it does "Appear" correct in preview. just not on the front end. This issue happened sometime between 8.0.39 (which does work correctly), and 8.0.43

so on v8.0.43 the icons display in admin but not on frontend ?

Do you have a simple test form for this ? because it works fine here
