How to use validation?

Hello,

I'm new to Chronoforms and have some trouble with the validation functionality. To be precise, I don't have a clue how to use it :? What do I have to enter for e.g. "required"? Maybe there's somebody with a tutorial out there?

Hi weeman,

all you have to do is enter the field name which you want to validate. for eg., if you want that name field should not be blank, just put the text field name there.

Hi weeman, exactly as Sarita said, for a required field, just add the name of the field in the required text box!

I've also defined a hidden input field at a "wrong" position. This caused the validation to fail.

Another question: Is it possible to change the text color and position of the error messages?

Sure, make a search here in the forums for "validation color", position will be alittle hard to do!
