I have been using V7 for a long time. I downloaded the latest version 38 of chronoforms and got the error :
Installation of the package was successful.
Table 'xxxxxxxx.yyyy_chronoforms8' doesn't exist
ChronoForms 8 SQL has been updated.
Tried installing other versions but with same error.
Wally
it looks like the table was not added when installing
did you download and upload the package or install directly from the Web ?
Can you try again using the other way ?
Original install was from download. Just tried instal from web and same result.
Wally
if you do not have any forms then please uninstall then install, same result ?
do you have any installed extensions or plugins which may be changing the installation procedure ?
Not that I know of.
This installation was on our test system. I will try installing it on live.
Wally
ok, please let me know, and if it's a fresh install then please try to uninstall before installing again
It worked fine on the live system.
Most odd as the test system is a copy of live from a few weeks ago.
On test the only real work I have been doing is experimenting with a curl script.
I tried both using a php action and also using the curl action. I could not get either to work properly with the target site, henced why I am looking to see if V* works for me.
Wally
I'm not sure why the installer would not run the install SQL on the local server, is it the same Joomla version and PHP ?
v8 has CURL action that you can use
