Table in CF 8 Problem (?)

Fredolino 9d ago

Hello,

I'm trying to create a simple table with CF 8. But I've already failed.

Does the demo form match the table with the new version?

You can see the problem in Screen 1.

I can't change or move the column header without creating everything again with this button.

And why do I have this anti-responsive bar with all the table pages (Screen 2)?

And, I can import forms in CF 7 version into CF 8, but very, very little content is transferred.

It's probably better to create everything again with CF 8 if you know how to do it...

agreed, the table columns list will need to fixed

what kind of content is not being transferred, the most important and most common settings are transferred, but you can suggest specific settings to add to the importer

most users have wanted to get at least the form structure, the fields and actions, which is being imported fine I think

I thought that at least the table contents, which are often based on databases, would be imported.

But when I imported, the table rows simply became empty text fields.

I think the content of a JavaScript or CSS can be copied manually. But recreating all the tables again always takes the longest.

can you post a screenshot of "the table contents" ? I do not understand what is that, one from how they are in v7 and how they are after import

Hi Max,

what I mean is that the table was not copied.

The text node fields became text fields.

The content of the text node fields was copied into text fields.

Hi Fredolino

if you are sure of this conversion of types then I will need a form backup of this v7 form to test it here

Please test the new v8.0.29 importer, it has improved v6 and v7 importing
