Upload joomla user data in form fields

mfrey 22 Nov, 2024

is it possible to load joomla active user data into form fields, such as name, email, etc.?

I would like to make a questionnaire for the users of my website to sign up for some events and I wanted to rescue their personal data and that they are not typing it.

Thanks

Answer

Yes, you can use shortcodes in the field "Value" setting, like {user:id} or {user:username} or {user:name} or {user:email}, check the shortcodes support here:
