CF8 - failed validations

rbock 15 Nov, 2024

How do I reset messages about failed validations, e.g. from page 2?

Please explain more, I do not understand this

Yes, gladly for the 3rd time!

Multipage, 3 pages! 1st page 2 checkboxes -> 2nd page 2 text fields with run condition and mandatory. The text fields are shown/hidden depending on the checkbox on page 1.

I uploaded an example weeks ago!

If you click send on the second page without filling in the text field, the message appears: The field is required. So far, so good.

Now just go back to page 1 and change the checkboxes, so the other text field appears on page 2!

Now fill in the text field and try to send!

The message from before appears: The field is required, even though it is not displayed!

Hence my idea: Simply reset all error messages when loading the second page.

I can't confirm that! Just tested it! It doesn't work!

Here is my rough structure! First select 1 and option B, then don't fill anything out, send = error! -> back -> deselect 1 and select 3 -> next -> enter text -> send! = error!
