Hi there,

I've been asked by a fellow member to share the code I've used for a chronoconnectivity / chronoform combination. I'm very happy to share, especially after all the support I received here trying to get it working, but I was just wondering if there are any security implications in simply uploading chronoforms backup files, or code from chronoconnector.

I would obviously want to change any embedded email addresses, but should I change form field names, and database field names for security?

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim,

this will be a great idea thank you!

I don't think fields names or DB fields names will be an issue at all, simply everybody knows joomla's fields names and its not a problem, just remove your personal data and maybe any absolute paths on your server if there is any, you can also remove your live website with the work done links for maximum security.🙂

Hello Jimwin

I was wondering if you still had the code available, if so would you be able to some on this forum as there is not much code available at the moment for CC.

Thanks

Russel
