Can't send email

Question

I have four sites on the same server. All sites are Joomla 5.1.2, Chronoforms 7.0.12 and PHP 8.2

Two of the sites allow the forms to send emails with no problems.

Two of the sites get the following error when trying to send email.

Could not instantiate mail function

I checked with the host and the reported the following error.

.../administrator/components/com_chronoforms7/chronoforms/helpers/field.php on line 115.

I need to resolve this ASAP.

this error should not affect the email, try to use the email config on all sites, maybe your email config on the non working site is different, please make it match the working ones
