How to set Reload event in CF8

I would like to set up reload event (to make connected dropdowns field) like in CF7 but I can not find way to do. Should any one help? 

This feature is not yet implemented, but you can trigger a function and use AJAX in that function to load another form page

the AJAX feature is on the todo list, but it may take few weeks to be ready
