CF 8 Calender start day

Overview

The CF8 calendar field initially defaults to starting the week on Sunday, which does not align with regional date formats used in many countries.
Use a text field with its input type set to 'Date' as a temporary workaround. The feature to set the start day directly in the calendar field will be available in a future update.

I really like the new CF8, coming from CF 7 I would like to start the calendar with monday instead of sunday. How can i set this? Thanks a lot!

at the moment this is not possible, but it can be added in a future update

I would appreciate it a lot!

In the meantime I found a workaround with the text field and input type setting data, which renders a date picker starting on monday. maybe helpful for other users too.

Do we already have a setting for the starting day of the week? We haven't found it anywhere yet :-(

Hi, the way he did it is like this:

CF 8 Calender start day image 1

Text field > Behaviors > Input Type > Date

The result value will always be in this format: yyyy-mm-dd

if you need to change the starting day of the week on the Chronoforms Calendar field then this setting is not yet available

Hi, Max, Calendar field starting from Monday is VERY important feature, even thought this approach use only 44% 😉 of the world population.Here in Europe we use Calendar starting from Monday. Please, make this possible ASAP since without this Chronoforms is no use for Europeans and Australians.
