Hello,
i've a dynamic dropdown filled from database. In the same page I have a text field with reload event and reload if dropdown change.
In the text field, I don't know what set on "value & placeholder) because it's always blank.

I would actually need to have in a variable, the key of the table record that the dropdown selected.

You need to use a javascript function called by your dropdown event to do that...
