create an email input field in a CF form.

Overview

CF does not have a dedicated email input type.
Use a standard text field and enable the 'Valid Email' behavior to validate the entered address.

There is no type Email, you can use a Text field and enable the "Valid Email" behavior to make sure the value is an email address
