Countries list in Chronoforms 8

Add a countries list dropdown in ChronoForms 8.

Overview

The built-in countries list feature available in version 7 is not yet present in version 8.
Create a custom database table with country data and use a dropdown element with dynamic options to populate the list. This functionality is planned for a future update.

Hi, I used to be able to insert the countries list in the dropdown in Chronoforms V.7, is this available in V.8 too as I can't find it. Thanks.

I created my own table for this and imported a CSV with the country codes. e.g. from https://github.com/lukes/ISO-3166-Countries-with-Regional-Codes/blob/master/slim-2/slim-2.csv.

Then a dropdown with “Dynamic Options”

Yeah you're in the end I did the same no big deal except maybe some search options missing but it's totally fine.

I assume we'll have to wait a few more months until CF8 is fully finished. I'm impatiently waiting for the next update with some bug fixes and hopefully additional features.
