I want to do a vote online via a form (let me know if there is a better way to do this). Basically, create 3 forms. 1. for president, 2 for vice president and so on. I want users to be able to vote only once per form per IP or login or email, as long as they can only vote once.. Is this possilbe?

Thanks,

Bryan

did you check the Joomla Poll component ? I think it does have time limit between double voting, set it to be as close as the election dayπŸ™‚

Thanks for the reply, I'll definitely look into that. Does anyone know of a way to get more than one poll on a page? I originally started looking at forms because I couldn't find a way to get multiple polls on one page. I don't want users to have to go to a Presiden'ts page, then a vice presidents page etc.

Thanks again.

Hi bevege,

you can post this question at the joomla forums or search about it there, I really have no idea about this possibility for polls!πŸ™‚

you can check the extensions directory/polls category tooπŸ˜‰

Hey bevege,

Did you figure out a way to post multiple polls to a single page?? I think it might be as simple as creating 3 new modules, all poll type modules and placing them in 3 different module positions, or even stacking them in the order you want on the left or right side.. haven't done that myself, but I thought it might be worth trying..

Let us know how it goes!
