what do you mean by data source ?
n the Page Block table list, for example, there is "Data Source" which allows you to connect the module to the database with Read Data.
This possibility does not exist in other modules such as "Menu", "Grid" and "Custom html" and, therefore, I cannot insert database fields using "$this->get("model.field_name") - in run php - or { var:model.field_name} - in html.
I'm creating dossiers with CF7 - see: https://www.forumbenicomuni.org/index.php?option=com_chronoforms7&view=form&Itemid=1929&lang=it&id_ato=31&ato_piano_tariffaruo=31&anno_rif_str=2022&distretto_id=99&id_regione=17&tosc= - but I always have to use table list, with only one column and this creates some layout problems for me in the texts coming from a different database table.
I'll take this opportunity to ask another question.
If I use "gpage.page_name" to open a CF/ page other than the first, it works if the second page is in a different group but not if in the same group, as I can do.

the dats source is available for views which can use data lists to do some processing.
2nd question, if the pages are in the same group and the group is sequential then pages should be displayed in sequence, like a multi page form
