CC6.2 connections backup "0 preg_replace() expects at least 3 arguments, 2 given"

Resolve backup error when migrating from ChronoForms 6.2 to 7.

Overview

The error occurs due to a missing class and a function argument mismatch after installing ChronoForms 7 over version 6.2.
Reinstall ChronoForms 6.2 after CF7 to temporarily restore functionality. Note that direct restoration of CF6 backup files to CF7 is not currently supported.

Hi Max,
When I try to backup my connections in cc6.2 I am getting this error:
0 preg_replace() expects at least 3 arguments, 2 given
How do I back up? When I tried to install CF7 on my test site, I am unable to use CC6 at all due to this error:

0 Class "JError" not found

So not sure how to move forward?

try to install CC6.2 again after CF7, does that help ?

Hey Max,
Yes that worked thanks. I see that to restore to CF7 it needs to be either a CF5bak or CF7bak file. Is there a way to restore a CF6BAK to CF7?
