Can't send mail from mailforms

How to fix ChronoForms v5 mailforms that fail to send emails when embedded in articles.

Overview

The issue occurs when forms are embedded using plugin tags, often due to caching conflicts or version limitations.
Upgrade to ChronoForms v7 and import your v5 forms, as the newer version resolves compatibility issues and may also restore functionality to existing v5 forms.

Hi,
I have had issues lately, yesterday and today, to send emails from mailforms on my site.
I use the Chronoforms v5 to send mails and it hs been working just fine. I also use a plugin to display the
forms where ever I want in an article just by adding this line of text to the article:
{chronoforms5}hogtid{/chronoforms5}
hogtid is the name of the form.
The forms display fine on the page but nothing happens when I submit the form.
But when trying to test the form directly under the Chronofoms Component it sends away the email correct.
This makes no sense at all.
I have 4 forms on the site but none works.
Any suggestions or experiences, would be fantastic.

Most probably you have cache enabled in Joomla, try to disable that ?

This issue is fixed in v7, so you may try that instead, you can install it on the same website with v5

The cache is disabled by default, or is it some other cache you refer to for Chronoforms?

If I choose to upgrade to CF7 is there an easy way to import my old CF5 forms to CF7?

Hi again, I installed the CFV7 and imported a CFV5 form, then I used the old V5 forms again and now they all work fine.
Don't know why this is but maybe the V7 has unlocked some restrictions or so and made also the V5 forms work?
Anyway, thanks a lot for the suggestions.
