Import forms from Chronoforms6 to Chronoforms7 for Joomla4

Fritz 19 Jan, 2023
How do I import Chronoforms6 modules into the new version of Chronoforms7 ?
I'm upgrading several customers to the new Joomla 4 cms platform and I can't find any directions (also in the FAQs) to fetch the many modules.

I don't know if iwill be develeoped a cf6 to cf7 importer, ask Max.

There's a working version of cf6 for J4, contact Max the Admin for files and you can test it.
Max sayed CC6 will be developed immediately after CF6, for the end of 2022 but no news for now.

Thanks for the reply Gix.vax!
The work amount to rebuild the various forms present in the various websites that I'm migrating to Joomla 4 are unfortunately not compatible with the lump sum cost that I have to offer. The leap from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4 is already more work demanding for many of my users than the low costs I have to offer to customers who expect this type of update for free.
If I then add the different licensing profile that is offered for $50 (the only one compatible with the small tourism companies that I follow) I fear that I will have to abandon this component and look for other solutions.
In this laked economic situation, I see little possibility of convincing a customer to spend almost half of what is required for the leap of the cms (including new server platform) for a component that is mostly used for generic requests.
With all due respect to your company policy, I fear that the transition to the mandatory V7 for joomla 4 should be less traumatic both economically and technically.
Sorry again and I hope I haven't offended anyone.

new update for v6 for J4 and PHP8 is available at https://www.chronoengine.com/packages2.zip

This is unofficial and should not be used on a live website.

till now v6 forms can not be imported in v7, v6is being updated to work with J4 instead, this is what the majority of users prefer.
