General e-mail settings joomla to prevent email from being deliverd in the junk folder

Hi,

Emails are being sent to the junk folder; I used the same e-mail address as the domain (i.e.: domain is: nicesite.com, e-mail address: mail@nicesite.com)
​
My question is: Is it necessary to use the same e-mail address in the email settings of general settings, server tab in joomla, to prevent e-mails from being delivered in the junk folder?

This is a problem with your mail server and the way it works. Please try doing as you suggest and use the e-mail address in the General Settings and see if that solves the problem.
