Updated to use 'calendar' instead of 'datepicker' since in v7 the name of the field is calendar. Old habits die hard.

After updating to Word Press 5.8.1, the calendar is not working. Instead of a calendar, a text input is shown. Both display and real format for the calendar fields is MM/DD/YYYY but entering 09/22/2021, for example, produces an error (just the field names).
​
How can I fix this? It was working before the WP upgrade.

I suggest that you check for JavaScript errors on the form page - that may give you some clues about where the problem is coming from.

Looking at the inspector in Chrome, the errors I see are from jquery. As far as I know, we do not import any jquery on our site.
​
We are at WordPress v. 5.8.1. We use the Divi theme and are at v. 4.10.7.
​
I took screenshots of the inspector but can't get either of them to attach to this message. They are jpgs, one is 216K, one is 400K. What should I do to be able to upload those?

I see the same jQuery error messages. But I can't see what is causing them. I'm afraid that I am not very familiar with CFv7 and less so with it's use on WordPress :-(
​
I haven't so far been able to find anything in the messages that lets me see the source of the error.
