Co[y button in form design has disappeared.

An odd one - on a new site = the green copy button has disappeared???
Any ideas appreciated. I have tried uninstal;l and reinstall a few times but NBG!

I don;t know why but I am having trouble attaching files to send but - on the RHS of any control there are usually

1. a red delete cross
2. a green copy
3. an orange sort
4. a black gear

It is the green copy button. Jjust to prepare this reply I installed from scratch. Still the same - no green icon. The very odd thing is that the icon is there as I create a new form but disappears as I hit the create button, It is only on this new subdomain that I created from scratch a week or two ago. It only has CF7 installed and has never had CF6 or connectivity - I am not sure if that is related.

I checked and I can see them all on my test site - but I do have multiple CF versions installed. I looked at the HTML but so far can't see where the icons are loaded :-(

A bit weird but you might try installing CFv6 to see if that updates the file with the missing icon???

There is the oddity! All works fine on my other sites but like you, they contain multiple CF versions. And I suspect that is the problem. There does seem to be stuff in CF7 that depends on prior installations of CF6 & CC6. I think I will strip out CF7 again and try CF6, CC6 and then CF7.

It certainly is something to do with that. I installed CF6 and the missing icons appeared but the menus that in Cf7 appear along the top now appear on the LHS! They go back to the correct position if I un-install CF6 but then the icon has disappeared again and I have that dreaded 'Error The CEGCore2 library could not be found.' again. I thought to install CC6 as well but while it says it is installed there is no sign of it in the extensions or menus!
Very odd!

I will strip everything out and start from scratch with CF6 then CF7 and see what happens.

Thanks - that is related to the problem I am encountering but in my case the problem only exists on a new Joomla install. My old installations all work fine. Very odd.
And wiva - since I downloaded a new copy of CF7 from the web just the other day I assume that included the update that max mentioned.

No good - this is a show stopper! I have just installed anew version of Joomla (v3.9.28) and done nothing other than install CF 7.0.7. I made a copy of one of the demo forms and first look the copy icon is there.. Save the form and the icon disappears.

Where to from here? As it stands a new install of VF 7 on a new site looks to be at leaste partially dosabled.

Not at all practical in development and what is strange is that there is no fix for this bug.😢

Based on past performance we will get a fix Jean Marie - here is hoping
