I am porting an old Joomla 2.5 site to Joomla 3.9.x.
On the old site we did use Chronoforms 4.
On one of the CF4 forms I have some custom PHP code in the On Submit Event.
In CF7 I am a bit lost. I could not find a way to have PHP Code in the On Submit event. Is there any Tutorial how to integrate custom PHP Code in CF7? Is there any manual or should I use CF6?

Just use a PHP action, it's available in an advanced form, check the advanced form video tutorial in the link in my signature!
And the next update has an advanced "Save user" action, it can save to custom fields as well!

I just use CF6 now. I am not happy with the new design of CF7. There is no manual and just a few tutorials at the moment. So i prefer to use the older version.

as noted, the next update should make creating users in v7 easier, with custom fields support, you can not do this as easy in v6
