Security image starts to give spam

Good morning
​
On most of my forms I use the "security image" before being able to send the message.
I tested it, and when not selected the correct image, I get the error screen
although, since a couple of weeks, at least2-3 times a day I get messages through the form.
So for some reason, they were able to bypass or select the correct image.

For now, the only solution I can think of, is to raise the number of options.
Any other suggestions?

The security image will not lock human spammers. Try ReCaptcha for that, and/or add serverside validation to identify and delete the spam submissions.
