External database connection on CF 7

connect to an external database in ChronoForms 7.

Overview

The feature for external database connections was not initially available in version 7.
Wait for the scheduled update that will reintroduce this functionality, as it was present in earlier versions.

Hello!

I don't seem to be able to find a way to connect to an external database in ChronoForms 7. Is this feature abandoned, or is it soon to come?

Has this update been released yet? I can't find an obvious way to add an external connection in v7.

We are at a standstill for connecting Lyris e-mail system/database through our CFV7 forms. We were able to do this in CFV5. Am I not using the correct search terms to find out if this issue has been resolved? Is it something to do with the Curl? Thanks.
