How to set up the Repeater section

So I am guessing that "Repeater" is the v7 way of handling what was called "Multiplier" in v5.

Since everything is completely different, can you provide a short guide on how to set up a repeating field?

I have found that :

1. Drag and drop a "repeater" from the "area" menu
2. Choose a name for that repeater (I will use unit name = repeater)
3. Drag and drop the different sub element you want to repeate in the loop section
4. Rename the different sub element with

label = label #repeater (if you want to have the index in the label)
name = name#repeater

However :

1. I don't know how to do if you don't want to use the data source provider
2. I would like to have the result as an array, but I have n different results
3. Here @Max says the repeater will automatically start to 1, but mine starts to 0

Hi. I'm using multi field repeaters without a data source - see the last post in this thread https://www.chronoengine.com/forums/posts/t108628/p395579#p395579. There's a demo form Max provided and some guidance. Works perfectly.
