File Upload for required Field not working

I built a form using a file upload field. The upload is working, but when I'm setting it as required field, the upload isn't working anymore. I'm using the latest Chronforms version 7 for WordPress. I also tested it on a blank WordPress.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

This is a bug, it should be fixed in the next update for WP, thank you for reporting it!
