Chronoforms vanished and can't re install

Hi guys,

everything was going swimmingly well until (and as far as I tell) Chronoforms vanished... it was no longer available through components and none of the forms worked... I was trying to get chronoconnectivity to work at the time, but I did not uninstall it as far as I know.

Anyway, I have tried not to reinstall CF, but keep getting

* Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/[...]/components/com_chronocontact"
* Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/[...]/administrator/components/com_chronocontact"

I renamed the two folders, but that did not work.

I then created a completely new Joomla installation in a different directory, and still I got the same two errors, even though it was a virgin installation...

I don't know what to do?

errr... don't worry about that.. I was just being an idiot.

just for everyone else

Chrono contact is part of CF not Chronoconnectivity... thus, uninstalling it made CF not work.

Still don't know why I am getting those errors, but the new installation seems to work.

what is you server type ? widows or Linux ? are you sure the folders have been renamed ? try to delete them..
