Is there a Way to change the editor for the frontend users? There was once a topic when it was possible - is this function removed by now?
The problem is that on my site the integrated editor does not work well with the UIkit template. And while testing i had now also after switching to another template some weird behaviour in the editor....

Have a look at the documentation for the editor you want to use. It's probably just got some simple initialisation code which runs, which is all the CF tinymce editor does - calls tinymce() on all the textareas with "rich text editor" turned on.
