Still struggling with J1.5.6 | V3Beta2 and uploading image

tullski 17 Aug, 2008
Hi,

just installed all the new extensions, but still no luck with uploading the images.
The filename is stored in the db, but no images in the upload folder.

Yes i did read the FAQs ...
1.enctype='multipart/form-data' in Form tag attachment
2.Enable Fileupload and specify datatypes and size
3.Check if upload folder is writeable - tried 755 and 777

But no files are going to be stored...

Attached the backup of the form.

Also validation on checkbox(terms and conditions) didn`t seem to work....

Thx in advance

Hi tullski,

I tried to restore your form into my ChronoForms v3beta2 test site and it failed. I took a quick look at the formcode in a test editor and don't see anything immediately wrong with it.

Bob

PS Max : I updated with your patch and reinstalled and get this message with the restore:

Max: the error message is "Restoring the whole form failed Failed, error : Unknown column 'dbclasses' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO jos_chrono_contact (id,name,html,scriptcode,redirecturl,emailresults,fieldsnames,fieldstypes,onsubmitcode,onsubmitcodeb4,server_validation,attformtag,submiturl,emailtemplate,useremailtemplate,paramsall,titlesall,dbclasses,autogenerated,published,extra1,extra2,extra3,extra4,extra5) VALUES ('','form_einkauefer','" . . .

I'll try and reinstall Beta 2 tomorrow from scratch.

Hi Bob,

this column should be created with BETA 2 installer, strange that it gives this error! I will test the backup now!

Thx,

btw Max.
Also change the versionnr. of the mambot/plugin of ChronoForms Bot 0.6 J1.5.zip - which still shows 0.5 in J! Backend.

Hi Bob,

There must be something wrong went with your BETA 2 install, I could restore here good!

after testing I found that the form can upload very good, the only changes I amde is to disable DB connection and Validation because I don't need this here!

I tested teh form alone with no mambot, a new mambot will be released soon.

plz retest and let me know!

Cheers

Ok,

disabled mambot, validation and db_inserts.
Still no luck.
Disabled redirect after sending form - found some basedir errors.
I will check with my ISP - and let you know.

best
