Many years ago I used CForms with V1 and Joomla1.5. Having moved to Joomla 3.8 and V6 I saw that one can paste existing html form and email html as well.
After pasting these two block of code, the form displays correctly. As on the previous version I want the form 'simply' to mail the completed form.
I have verified the joomla mail functions, I have filled out the from to etc fields on email action. No mail recieved and no error message displayed. Added debug and the form doesnt actually seem to be doing anything.
I have dug around in the forums and the manual but the interface V6 is different from whats being displayed in help file,videos etc. Is their a step by step help page specific to this or am I missing an all important step?
I tried used the builder to recreate the form with the V6 system but still have no joy getting the form to function and contents sent by mail...
Help please :-)

After playing around a bit, the email comes trhrough but the fields are not populated. The debug show the form information entered but its not getting onto the email body, just shows the template with fileds and names..

data: in front of the fields sorted that. {data:telport}

I'm guessing that you need to change the place-holders for the data in the email template. Please check this FAQ for codes to use.
