Form name not displaying

greendome 11 Aug, 2008
Hi,

I'm new to Chrono Form's.

I recently installed ChronoForms V3.0 J1.5 BETA 1. However, when i create a new form from the Form's Manager and save it, the form name is not displaying when i return back to the Forms Manager. But the link to the form is there, when i click on it the form does not display as the form name is missing.

Please could some one assist.

Thank you in advance.

GD.

Hi greendome,

Check the box just to the right of the Form ID - probably 1 - then click the Edit icon and put a form name in the first box on the General Tab

Thank you Admin and GreyHead for your replies.

Admin :

Check the box just to the right of the Form ID - probably 1 - then click the Edit icon and put a form name in the first box on the General Tab

I did the above and it works, but soon as i put the form html code under form code tab and save the changes i lose the form name in the forms management page. Very strange!

GreyHead:

do you add form name before you save ? YES.

try to edit teh form and then add a name ? Once the form name disappears, editing the form doesn't bring it back, not even if the change form name to something totally different, as menetioned above, the problem only occurs when form code is added.

Please advice - Thank you in advance

Hi greendome,

Absolutely no idea. I'd suggest that you send Max a superadmin login to take a look. He'll probably want Joomexplorer and possibly EasySQL installed so he can look at the files.

If Max can't help - he may be busy - then by all means drop me an email or a PM.

Best wishes

Hi greendome,

are you SURE that this happens ONLY when you add the form HTML and not in any other cases ?

do you have a field with name="name" in your HTML ?
