Drop-down and Datepicker not working in modal window

I load a form via the Chronoforms plugin within a Modal Window, which I repurposed from the Login Modal in a Shape 5 template.

The form loads fine, but neither the Drop Down fields as well as the Datepicker fields are working, they show, however clicking on them does nothing, no drop downs and no calendars...
​
The same form works fine if it is not called within the Modal and just on a normal page.

Anybody any advise how to fix this?

Use google with site:chronoengine.com there are a whole range of answered threads about it I just can't remember the specifics.

I actually searched the forum here already for all topics on modals, however none of the solutions and suggestions does fix my issue, that's why I posted this.

It may be that the modal window is not loading the required CF files - you may be able to get round that by using loading the form content in an iframe in the modal window.
