Can I migrate Chronoforms from Joomla to Wordpress?

emills01 31 May, 2019
I am running Chronoforms on a Joomla 3 site that I will be switching to Wordpress.

Is there any way to migrate my existing Chronoforms setup from the Joomla site so I don't have to recreate everything?

Do I need to purchase a new license for the Wordpress site?

You will need to purchase a new licence, but the forms themselves should transfer straight over unless you have data save / read actions, which will need to be fixed with the new table names, and unless you're using Joomla User actions.

Hi emills01,

If your new WP site is under the SAME domain then you do NOT need a new subscription, use your existing key!

The forms themselves can be taken as a backup from the Joomla install and restored on your WP CF.

Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?

Ah yes sorry for some reason I pictured you moving to a new domain name. My bad.

Thanks for the reply. It will be on the same domain, but as of right now while the new site is under development it is on a subdomain of the existing site. Am I still clear?

Is there a Chronoforms 5 for Wordpress, and if so how do I download it? I am not quite ready to recreate this form in Chronoforms 6...

There is but its very outdated, you can download it on the WP plugins directory.
