Article editor disrupted in frontend using plugin to display form in article

How to fix a disrupted frontend article editor when using a form plugin.

Overview

The problem occurs because the form plugin code is being rendered in the editor area instead of being treated as a placeholder.
Update the ChronoForms plugin to the latest version, as this issue has been resolved in a recent release.

Hi

On this site I added a simple form in a joomla article using the plugin and the code in the article like this
{chronoforms6}contactformulier{/chronoforms6}

When I want to edit this article in frontend, the editor is disrupted and I can't use the save and cancel buttons.
I've tested with tiny mce with the same (disrupted) result.

Also the form itself is displayed in the editor area insead of the plugincode .

Chronofroms 6
Joomla 3.9.6
jce 2.7.13

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards,
Liesbeth
