I use CF to create forms but since two weeks ago when i use php code in html code tab and want to save an error occured:
Method Not Implemented
POST to /administrator/index2.php not supported.
when i don't use php code it works properly.chan vay cong so, ao so mi cong so, vay cong so, quan ao, quan ao tre em, quan lot nu, do lot sexy, xe day cho be, do so sinh cho be, ban buon quan ao, do lot
what's the problem?is there anything in my server?or setting?
Not Implemented
The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because a header value in the request does not match certain configuration settings on the Web server.
using
forms management -> new -> general -> then save -> no error
when i put someting in "setup email" then save -> Error
same with the wizard
step 1 save - no error
step 2 save - error
also importing the test_form.cfbak creates errors
What can i change to make a form running ?
what should i tell my provider to do ?
thanks for any easy to understand help
chrono contact for 1.5 , tryed 3 differend versions
Joomla! 1.5.6 Production/Stable [ Vusani ] 12-August-2008 22:00 GMT legacy modus
PHP-Version: 5.2.6
Webserver: Apache/2.2.0 (Fedora)
there is no wizard or setup emails in V2.5 ?
Hi joomlo, there is no wizard or setup emails in V2.5 ?
i have tried it with 3 different versions.
downloaded and installed this version (only one at each time)
chronoforms V3.0 BETA 2.zip
ChronoForms V3.0 J1.5 BETA 1.zip
ChronoForms V2.5 J1.5 RC3.1.zip
after installation
i select component chrono forms
select form wizard
seop 1 opened
filled in text+textbox+submitbutton
save at this time will not creat an error
continue with
select step2
"new email" (click insert to a new email container)
select "to" + "subject" + "from name" + "from email"
entering something in step3 + step4 doesnt makes a difference concerning the error.
at step 2 or 3 or 4
Save -> "save form" Choose a title -> 'blabla' -> SAVE -> Error
administrator/index2.php Error "501 not implemented" "The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because a header value in the request does not match certain configuration settings on the Web server"
mozilla tells me also refernce: administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=form_wizard
--------
i can create the same error when i use the
"forms management" -> "new" -> "general" -> "setup emails" -> Save -> Error
When i overstep the "setup emails" part, then i do NOT get an error.
So i guess the probleme is somewhere in the Email area...
regards Lo
ps: have safe_mode = on
uninstall the current version and install the one attached and test the wizard only with step 2 (adding emails), what happens ?

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
but the same problem is also with
int-explorer 7.0.5730
this is strange, I searched google and it said this error is a browser problem,
indeed, but the error creating code comes from chronowizard.
so with ChronoForms V2.5 J1.5 RC3.1.zip where the error happens ?
NO - big sorry, my fault.
ChronoForms V2.5 J1.5 RC3.1 doesn't have a form wizard or setup emails!
Sorry you are right. this version works without problems.
ok, I believe its a special server config issue which I can't generate and no body else reported, to track it I may need access to your server, but I guess if you tested on another website it will work just fine, is this your live website server ?
I have a second server where i am running joomla 1.0.
so thanks a lot for your help, i agree that the problem is more on my side.
Could
Safe-Mode: On a reason?

show error: Aus=off
Kurze Open-Tags: An=on

Regards

magic qoutes on / off makes no difference.
save mode on / off makes no difference.
as long as i am the only one with this problem, its very unrealistic that "you" cause the problem.
thanks for taking attention to my problem.
installing the new v3.0 stable may be worth it because it solved a similar issue with another user, give it a try and may be it will work.
Regards
Max
all joomla check parameters are green = okay.
then have downloaded the new version
....downloads/file/59-ChronoForms%20V3.0%20Stable.zip.html
and installed it
legacy mode is NOT necessary.
at the first 2 tries i had an error,
but now not anymore.
problem solved ! 😀
Doug
whats the error you get exactly ?
Max
What happens is this: I logon to the Joomla 1.5 backend and start a new form using the Chronoforms Wizard. I add fields to my form, add an email address that it should be sent to, and then click save form. I give it a new name without spaces and as soon as I click ok on that it tries to access this page:
http://www.fhsu.edu/int/helpdesk/administrator/index2.php
And I get this error:
501 Method Not Implemented
POST to /int/helpdesk/administrator/index2.php not supported.
Please let me know how I can resolve this issue.
Thanks!
Can you access the forms management page ?try to drop a question to your host asking about any ideas and let me know their reply, as early posted I couldn't find any info about the issue, you can check Bob's post at the top of the topic too!
Cheers,
Max
first sorry on my not so good English!
I think I also have same or very similar problem when I have to save form (choosing title).
I have installed joomla 1.5 and latest stable version of Chronoforms on my live server.
Problem is when I try to save form it tries to access: http://localhost/removecookies
I also notice that when I try to exit from the Wizard clicking on the "cancel" button in the upper right corner same thing happened:
http://localhost/removecookies
If I only move mouse pointer over "cancel" button I see this: http://www.mydomain.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=form_wizard#
Thank you for any help!
my site "www.something.com" is not public yet I still have much to work on it but I testing on live server not at local and yes your component tries
to access localhost.
Thanks,
Kola
MAx
no, I did not transferred from my local machine!
This is new installation - using "Rocket Launcher Joomla installer": http://tutorials.rockettheme.com/joomla-templates/rocket-launcher.html
Just to tell you that every other plugin or component (example: JCE, Simple Image Gallery...) works perfect I have problem only with this one (ChronoForms).
Thanks,
Kola
I made a google search and found the 2 posts below with the solution, may be you have some code in your form which triggers this.
http://dev.virtuemart.net/cb/issue/1137
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/What_is_mod_security_and_how_does_it_affect_me
Cheers
Max
problem solved - this is due to mod_security restrictions on the server and my host disabled the mod_security restrictions.
Thanks for your help!
Kola
Did anyone find an answer to this modsecurity problem. I am using Joomla 1.5.9 and Chronoforms 3.1RC2 and also get the modsecurity error. I can add form fields and save fine, but as soon as I use the "setup emails" either in the wizard or forms management I get the error.
I suggest you try again with V3.1 RC3, I iwll put it online in a few hours!
Cheers,
Max
Thanks, I will give it a try tomorrow and let you know. I put 2.5 on which works fine but the features in 3.1 are absolutally amazing. You guys have really done a fantqastic job with this.
Thanks
Jonathan
Thought I would resurrect this one.
I am using J1.5.11 (fresh install, no sample data)
Migrated a DB of content but reinstalling latest versions of the 3rd party components I use.
Installed Component of V3.1 RC5.1 OK.
Rebuilding one of my forms and trying to do as others:
Created form and saved. Decided to edit and add email. Clicked Add email icon, dragged a TO box in, completed it and then Save Form. Server throws a 501:
Error 501: The server cannot complete the request because it encounters an error
Header values specify a configuration that is not implemented.
ModSecurity, web application firewall, possible secure attack prevention.
Here is an appropriate (sanitised) error log entry:

I am working with my providor to look into this so if they can tell me anything useful I will happily share it here. I orignially asked them to turn off the rule inheritance in the virtual host declaration (it is mod_security2 throwing the error) but they would prefer to not turn this off for the whole host!
Hope this is useful.
Jon
My usual advice with these is that the simplest answer is to change host.
I can't see clearly what's happening from the log file but it looks as though it may be objecting to ChronoForms trying to save the MySQL code from the Autogenerated Code box in in the form setups.
Bob
Sorry but change of hosts is not an option at present - the people I use are excellent and have never had a prob with either their hosting or support before! I know where you are coming from though. Received following from my helpdesk yesterday:
I have worked around the following rules for you and it appears to work fine now.
950904 950906 950006 95001
I know nil about Mod Security but this has worked around the issue.
Thanks,
Jon.
