chronoforms instead of editor?

ringleader 04 Aug, 2008
Hello!

Is there a way to use a form instead of the wysiwyg editor for users in the frontend.
I would like to have some textfields for adress, price,description...and so on....

THX!

Its for users that are registered as Editors. so instead of using the wysiwyg to write and edit articles , id like to have a form with dedicated textfields for price, description, adress....
its just to keep a consistent layout for all articles that are beeing added....

well, possible, but you need to get the correct code to add the text into the content table or if you are planning to view the saved content from another table then this is possible too if you have the tool to get them from this other table!

Thanks Bob....๐Ÿ™‚
This Post Is Quite Different From The Other One...
In Joomla Front-End When You Are Logged In As Editor, You See A Pen Icon Next To Article Heading, That Allows You To Edit The Article..
Editing The Article Opens The WYSIWYG Editor...
Question Was, If A Chronoform Can Be Opened At This Place Instead Of WYSIWYG Editor...
So That Articles Have A Fixed Format Like Price, Qty, Tax... Etc..
I Doubt The Possibility Of This, But I Hope The Question Is Clear๐Ÿ™‚

Hi CodeLab,

Sorry, I misunderstood.

I've no idea - anything is possible though. I guess you could create your own 'pen icon' linked to a form and include it the article template.
