Problems with CF6 latest version - events

Trigger a ChronoForms event from submit buttons.

Overview

The issue occurs when server validation is enabled on a form without input fields, preventing event triggers.
Disable the 'Enable server validation' setting in the form settings and ensure the form type is correctly configured.

I am having a lot of trouble understanding this new form structure. I have a form that lists a set of submit buttons each of which needs to go to the same event. In that event I planned to use a switcher to load a new new view based on the submit button id or value.

I am damned if I can get the new event to trigger.
Does the event equate to a new page? What is causing that 'Missing form data' to trigger? There is a new page called whichCourse 😡

I think that Max mentioned some demo forms. Is there one about using this new technique?????

Very puzzled & frustrated..

Answer
Hi Nick,

What do you have under the Actions area ?

Please try to disable the "Enable server validation" under the "settings" area because you do not have any fields on the form!

Also you do NOT need a "Form area" if your App type is set to Form under the Settings!
