Hi,
I'm looking for a solution for our small dog club and wondering if Chronoforms will solve our problem...
We have a small competition - each member has a number of dogs, some just the 1, some 4 or more. When the dogs compete, they get points for clear rounds. 2 points for an agility round, 1 point for a jumping round. the points relate to a single member/dog combination.
We collect the points all year and have a trophy for the winner.
I'd like people to be able to submit their own points in a form, and then automatically generate the leaderboard for the separate member/dog combos,
eg
MEmber Dog Annual Points so far
Bob Shep 5
Bob Spot 7
Anna Buddy 9
Jim Lola 3
Can I do this with Chronoforms?
Thanks

Sure you can! You can do almost anything with it if you know how.
Thanks, I have no idea how having never used this before though😟
Well you'll just have to learn, or pay someone like me to make it for you🙂
To be honest, given how unuseful the replies have been to this I think I'll look elsewhere.
Well I'm not sure what exactly you expected? Like going on a web development forum and going "hey can I make a website for my cat" and getting pissy that someone doesn't immediately write it for you.
There are FAQs and a manual, and if you want to do it yourself all you have to do is try.

that's my point - I was expecting a more supportive community which doesn't seem to exist here - just someone that doesn't work for the company touting for business.
I guess in other forums I have been on someone who said it was possible would have pointed in the right direction such as try this part of the manual or here's a similar example to start from. I'm not really sure how 'yes it can' is particularly useful but I'm sure you are right and I am wrong hence why I am moving on. I don't think I asked anyone to write it for me, if I did I apologise as that wasn't my intention.
Calling me pissy seems a little aggressive but as I said you are obviously right.
Moving on.

you wanted to know if it could be done, and yes it can. From your question it sounds like you haven't read the manual at all? Or looked at anything? All I can suggest is start at the beginning. Read the manual, read the FAQs, look at the demo forms.
I don't just tout business, I've helped hundreds of people on here with thousands of replies. If you have a specific question about implementation I'll help.
If you want something specific to what you've asked them sure:
It depends on your tech skills as to how far you will take it. You want a form for a user to add a new dog, a form for a user to select a dog to add points to, a CC connection for admin to read everyone's points and display a leader, and one to display the information for just one user. You will need to create database tables to store the information in.

Hi,
This is a small app, you will need to build a form to take the results from the user or some manager and store it in a table, the results can then be displayed and you can use them to do the calculations, building the form and getting it to save the data is straight forward and there is a demo form included for that.
Best regards
