Hello, I have installed Chronoform 6.0.26 on a fresh installation of Joomla, but there are many bugs that make Chronoform unusable.
The only kind of fix I found was to take com_chronoforms6 from the administrator folder of an older site with an older version of Chronoform6 and replace the one in the currently broken site with it. But for obvious reasons, It's not a good fix.
I have tried to make it work with php 7.1 and 7.2
Here is a list of all the bugs I encounter.

Also, if it can help, I think that my problem is related to this bug.

Here is a list of all the bugs I encounter.
- Switching Designer mode reset my form
- Default event not created
- Submit button not working (Probable because of #2)
- Default section not created
- Can not install the extension using "Install from web"
- Default language not in the translation section.

Also, if it can help, I think that my problem is related to this bug.
Update: I have set "Error reporting" to "development" and some new notices appear on top of the page.

Try redownloading and reinstalling the latest version of CF. Taking the com_chronoforms6 folder won't do much to help anything because most of the stuff is stored in libraries/cegcore2 anyway.
Thanks for the reply,
I redownloaded and reinstalled the latest version of CF. I did try your recommendation before and it didn't work. But this time, it did work. So I was intrigued.
I reinstalled joomla and retry your solution. But this time, it didn't work. I have tried different ways of reinstalling the plugins. All of the installations were made with Chronoforms_V6.0.26_Extension.zip, I download it using the official link.
I have no idea how to troubleshoot it further. Is there any server setting that could create those kinds of problem? If so, let me know and I'll check with my system admin.

- I download it, install it and reinstall it using the same zip.

Try using FTP or whatever to put the zip file on your server and then use Joomla install from folder.
If it's doing this to you on a fresh install with nothing else, I don't know just check if anything is blocking..... Anything. See if there are any PHP errors in the log, if mod_security is blocking anything, don't know.

Hi DevMatGod,
I noticed that there are no PHP Error reports here - just warnings. They can be hidden by setting your Site Error Reporting to System Default or None. You can then check if the forms are working correctly.

Hi Bob, I tried to changing the setting, but it was still not working.
I am normally using a Linux server, but I tested it on WAMP (with every setting at there default configuration in php.ini and htaccess). But the same problems appear.
I am out of ideas, so maybe I'll have to install an older version until an update fix my problems. I can't find any link to older Chronoform. Would you know how to download a previous version? Thanks.

Hi,
I think these problems are for the "Easy form" mode only, please apply the latest update and use the "advanced form" mode for now, it should work fine!
Best regards
