Conflicts between CC 6.0.9 and CF 6.0.24

webbusteruk 06 Mar, 2019
We are experiencing an issue with the above versions.

When CC 6.0.9 is installed, everything works fine. When CF 6.0.24 is installed after that, when viewing some connections the whole page is thrown into a mess with an error message at the bottom:

An error has occurred.

0 Call to a member function dpath() on null

When viewing the console, the following errors are displayed:

at Fields_Movable (index.php?option=com_chronoconnectivity6&cont=connections&act=edit&id=1:55272)
at index.php?option=com_chronoconnectivity6&cont=connections&act=edit&id=1:55279

When CC 6.0.9 is reinstalled, CC works again, however CF then gets error such as reported in another thread (https://www.chronoengine.com/forums/posts/t106851/event-switcher-broken-with-new-update). Also the icons moved from right float to under the labels, not sure if this was somehow related.

Reinstalling CF 6.0.24 fixes the above problem with CF, but then we re-encounter the same CC bug again (first picture).

It becomes an endless circle of errors.

We have tried uninstalling both CC and CF, then reinstalling them both but the errors above persist. All this happens after updating to CF 6.0.24 and CC 6.0.9, everything was working fine and dandy prior to that. Not sure where do we go from here?

If you have the file try installing 6.0.23 for a bit til it's fixed. Seem to be a couple issues with 6.0.24 particularly for people with conflicting modules (e.g. Tabs)

Hello,

Please install Chronoforms 6.0.24 after CC, if you have an error lik at the first post then please set the Joomla error reporting to Maximum under the Joomla global config and check the PHP error message reported at the page and report it please, I do not have any errors on CC here with the latest update.

Same thing as samir.

Installing CF 6.0.24 breaks CC. However the error only appears when viewing certain connections, not all. So I'm not sure if it's certain fields or functions that breaks it. When set Joomla debug to max:

0 Call to a member function dpath() on null /var/www/vhosts/website.com/httpdocs/libraries/cegcore2/admin/extensions/chronofc/functions/save_data/save_data_config.php:153

Reinstalling CC fixes it, but that then breaks the external database connections.

Ok, you can send me a message using the "Contact" page for a fix for this fatal error if you can not wait for the new offical update!
