How are blocks saved?

How to manage and save blocks in ChronoForms after an update.

Overview

The update removed the individual save icon from designer blocks, changing how blocks are created and stored.
Create and edit blocks directly in the block manager, then add them to forms using the 'Stored block' element. Deleting a block from the manager does not remove elements from forms, but referenced blocks will no longer display.

Hello,
before updating to v 6.0.23 I remember a small "save" icon on top of each designer block, allowing to save the element as block to be used with other forms. After the update I don't see it anymore.
Does this mean that any element created now is automatically saved as a block?

Also, I have lots of blocks that are useless, they were saved before I realized that the save icon was creating a block. If I delete these blocks this will also delete all the designer elements in the various forms from which the blocks were created in the first place?

Thank you

As far as I'm aware when you use a block it just recreates it in the form so you should be safe to delete it. But just in case, try it on something less important.

Hello,

The blocks can now be built directly in the block manager, if you want to create/edit a block then you have to do that in the blocks manager first, later you can either add the block contents to the form or "reference" it using the "Stored block" element.

No, deleting a block will not delete the elements in the form, but if you are calling a block "refrenece" with the new "stored block" then it will return nothing.

Hello "admin"...

You say "The blocks can now be built directly in the block manager"...
But where ?
- In "ChronoConnectivity6" ? I don't see this option.
- In "ChronoForms6" ? The contents of the block list of "ChronoForms6" do not appear in "ChronoConnectivity6".

Thanks for your response.
