Look and feel of the form is screwed up somehow

Riska 31 Jan, 2019
Hi, I am trying to build a form for Joomla, but somehow the look and feel gets screwed up. I have a paid subscription by the way, but I'm a newbie.

Example here: On this page: https://www.santosbikes.com/santos/contact-chrono

It only shows 'the way it should be' if I change the text-area (Bericht) to 'Rich text editor', but I don't want that.

Turned off the preview looks almost ok, but in the front end it looks like above.

Apart from that, the text-area is not rendering correct either. I specified it to be 10 rows, but it's just one very narrow row.

What am I doing wrong here?

Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Thank you!
Ellen

Looks fine to me, you must've fixed it.

Hmmm, I have done nothing...
This morning it looks fine to me too.

I will try to make it work (since it doesn't work yet) and see what happens.

Ok, I filled out the form and send it and now it looks like the first image again... for some reason it is not loading css correctly?

I cannot get it to work... the look and feel is right on first time load.
If you fill it out and click send, no confirmation message is shown and the screwed up form is visible.

Something goes wrong while loading and while sending..

Hopefully someone can help me?

Thanks

Hi, this is the exact form as it is now.

I will stop working on the form, I hope someone can help me out. I bought a subscription, but I can't get it to work properly. Thanks.

Is your template perhaps compressing all CSS files or something?
Riska 05 Feb, 2019
Let me check healyhatman. I'll get back to you.

No, I checked the template:
"Minify CSS and JavaScript into a single file. Use gzip compression and Data URIs to reduce image file requests." > is set to 'None'.

Have you filled out the form and send it? On this page: https://www.santosbikes.com/santos/contact-chrono
You can see what happens.

Dunno buddy, certainly looks like the CSS file isn't loading properly. Try reinstalling it, and check if you have any other plugins that could be interfering.
Riska 05 Feb, 2019
Hmmmm, I have no clue how to do that...
healyhatman 05 Feb, 2019
Try to reinstall Chronoforms if you can, maybe? Don't know.

Thanks healyhatman, I also contacted support. I will try to reinstall and post an update as soon as I have more info.
