Form not publishing in module

orangebluetime 25 Jul, 2008
Hi, I've read and read and could not find an answer.

I'm using Joomla 1.5 and ChronoForms 2.5 J1.5 RC3.1. I downloaded, installed and enabled the mambot today from this site.

I've inserted the following code: {chronocontact}test_form{/chronocontact}

Since I thought maybe my form had a problem I downloaded your Test Form and inserted it. Still not working. It's publishes to content, but no Module.

Here it the site: http://dev.theinjurylawnetwork.com/ (It's supposed to be the top "left" module position)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi,

the top left position is a module position and not the content body ? this formula will work by default at the content body and not module positions without the need of some special module to load it!

Hi orangebluetime,

As Max says, you need a special module to publish a form into a module (this is true for most content pages, not just ChronoForms). We have a FAQ telling you how to do this but it's temporarily down while the site is upgraded. As soon as it's back I try to remember to post a link for you.

Hi orangebluetime,

It's FAQ 43 you want (unless I sort them into a more useful order first . . .) here
