CCV4 giving 404 Component not found error

networkx 10 Dec, 2018
I am in the process of recreating a website in Joomla 3.9.1. We are running php version 7.2.12 (cli). In hopes of using forms & connections from the original site (which were quite extensive), we loaded ChronoForms v4 and ChronoConnectivity V4. The forms component seems to be working ok. However, when I try to access the CC Connections Manager from the admin component section, it returns a 404Component not found error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the component (from ChronoConnectivity_V4_RC3.2_J1.6.zip), I have also uploaded it and done an "install from folder" - it still returns the same error. Any suggestions??

The only suggestion I have would be to move to v6. No idea how v4 works, but it's super old so for the fun of it set your PHP version to something disgustingly old like 5.

One suggestion: Could it have something to do with Joomla's URL rewriting? We encountered something similar with a very old component that was not updated anymore, and for some reason URL rewriting causes 404 error. Turning it off seems to solve it.

Please try to set the Joomla "error reporting" to maximum or development and see if a different error is returned ? if its the same error then it may be a faulty installation, the best is to remake the list on v6.
